1. Responsible for maintaining, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing a large inventory of refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
2. Carry out periodic inspection, cleaning, and equipment servicing for Chillers, refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
3. Log into the work order management system to find, accept, and complete the work requests. Keep a ppm filing of servicing and records of intervention on equipment.
4. Carry out installation of new equipment; perform repairs on equipment; ensure settings/wiring controls; change equipment parts that have become old or defective.
5. Collaborate with other maintenance workers, company’s officials, and staff to effectively provide solutions to maintenance problems.
6. Attend quickly to emergency call on equipment repair issues during working hours.
7. Profound knowledge of how various types of kitchen and refrigeration equipment work, soldering and blazing skills, applying oxygen/propane.
8. Strong ability to read and comprehend wiring diagrams, and to follow manuals on operation and installation to successful complete tasks.
9. Strong ability to apply various types of equipment safely and efficiently, and to maintain and service them.
10. Perform other duties the supervisor may assign.
11. Diagnose and repair all categories air conditioning systems including Chiller or freezer rooms, package units and split systems, FCUs, under counters, Fridges etc.
12. Service rooftop condenser units & evaporator units with repairs including; recovery of refrigerants and new refrigerant application, replace condensers, compressors, dryers, heat pumps, mini splits, split systems, and fan coils.
